When your first appointment is scheduled, we will obtain your basic insurance details. As a courtesy to you, we will call your insurance company to verify what benefits apply for therapy. When you arrive for your first appointment, we’ll review these benefits with you. Although we can never guarantee the benefits that we obtain and communicate to you, we strive to be as accurate as possible.
In addition, we will ask you to call your insurance carrier to check our work. We want to know if there are any discrepancies between what we verified & communicated and what you discover your benefits for therapy are.
Important Note About STAR
We do not employ physicians. We employ licensed physical & occupational therapists. Normal co-pays may or may not apply as we are often considered an ancillary service by insurance carriers.
For example, you may expect to pay a $30 specialist co-pay per visit when in actuality your deductible & co-insurance applies.
