West Tennessee Mayors Proclamation Honors Certified Athletic Trainers
March is National Athletic Training Month and two mayors in west Tennessee delivered an official proclamation recognizing the value of Certified Athletic Trainers.
Jackson, Tennessee Mayor Jerry Gist and Madison County Mayor Jimmy Harris presented the proclamation honoring the area’s Certified Athletic Trainers for their contributions to West Tennessee area schools and communities. Certified Athletic Trainers from STAR Physical Therapy, Sports Plus Rehabilitation, Union University and West Tennessee Bone and Joint were recognized at the event.
STAR Physical Therapy employs more than 50 Certified Athletic Trainers. We provide onsite athletic training coverage for more than 40 schools throughout Tennessee, Kentucky and Indiana. In addition, our Certified Athletic Trainers provide outreach in community recreation centers, middle Tennessee YMCA’s, and for several youth sports leagues.
