Perhaps the most obvious way that we can measure our effectiveness in serving patients with world-class physical therapy is through the feedback we receive from those patients. Today, we are proud to announce that STAR Physical Therapy patients rated their satisfaction with STAR at 99.58% for the fourth quarter of 2013.
Patients are asked to anonymously rate their experience with STAR in a number of different areas. We receive specific feedback about the friendliness and helpfulness of staff, ease of scheduling, amount of time spent with the treating clinician and, of course, the quality of care they received. In the end, it is humbling to know that more than 99% of our patients would recommend STAR Physical Therapy to a family member in need of therapy.
Achieving high patient satisfaction is nothing new at STAR. Our quarterly patient satisfaction rates have routinely exceeded 99% over the past 10 years. Please know that we continue to strive to exceed the needs of our patients while providing the best physical therapy care available anywhere. While we celebrate the success we shared with 99.58% of our patients, we also recognize the needs of the .42% that were not completely satisfied with their experience in an effort to continuously improve.
