STAR Physical Therapy Proud to Sponsor 50th Anniversary of “The Game That Changed the South”
On January 5, 1965, Father Ryan played Pearl-Cohn in the first athletic event in the South between an integrated high school and an all African-American high school. The game was a classic decided in the last second of play. However, the impact that the game had as a step to advance opportunity and race relations in the South is what will be remembered most.
