STAR Physical Therapy launches Wounded Warrior Project initiative!

Wounded Warrior Project

Each year, STAR Physical Therapy selects a worthy cause to support company wide.  In the past, we have raised money and awareness to support wonderful causes including arthritis, breast cancer and men’s health research.  This year, STAR is proud to honor our service men and women (past, present and future) who have sacrificed so much to keep our country free.  Our fundraising initiative for 2014 will focus on the Wounded Warrior Project, serving the military and their families.

How You Can Help

Phase 1 – Stop by any of our STAR Physical Therapy clinics before October 18th and purchase a custom designed Wounded Warrior Project t-shirt (see photo) for a minimum $15 donation.  These are beautiful, high quality shirts that you will be proud to wear and they feature a limited edition design that you cannot get anywhere else.  They are VERY soft and are sure to be your favorite shirt!  100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project.  Our clinics also have collection cans on site so feel free to drop by and donate any loose change – it all adds up!

Phase 2 – Join the STAR Physical Therapy team for the 8K Wounded Warrior Project Run / Walk on October 18th.  The race will begin and end at Battle Ground Academy in Franklin, Tennessee.  Click here to sign up.  Enter the Promo Code “team” to receive a $5 discount.  Please make sure to type “STAR PT” as the “Company/Foundation” in order to receive your $5 discount.  Our goal is to have the largest team at the race so we would love to have you join us for this great race!

We would like to thank Meyer Distributing Company and U.S. Bank for partnering with us to support the Wounded Warrior Project.  Please consider joining us to support this great cause.
