The STAR yoga program is designed to improve the overall wellness of all individuals interested in yoga. There are many benefits of regular yoga practice:

- Lower and upper body strengthening

- Lower blood pressure
- Reduced heart rate
- Improved concentration and mood
- Decreased depression and anxiety
- Increased lung capacity
Each class will begin with meditation before progressing to the physical portion. You will then practice sun salutations to build heat in the body before you progress to standing strength and balance activities. Next you will practice deep stretching before finishing with a relaxing reflection of your practice.
Our Clarksville North clinic in Tennessee established this program with everybody in mind. We offer classes for beginner and advanced yogis. You don’t have to be flexible to enjoy yoga. We will provide blocks and straps that will help even the most inflexible yogi!
What do you need for yoga?
- Comfortable, form fitting clothes
- A yoga mat (or you can rent one from us for $2)
- Block and strap (we have some available for you to borrow)
- Water bottle
Costs
- 1 session = $12
- 5 sessions = $55 ($45 for military / APSU)
- 10 sessions = $100 ($80 for military / APSU)
- Bring a friend and get $2 off your session

- Beginners – Tuesdays from 10:00am – 11:15am
- Advanced – Thursdays from 10:15am – 11:15am
