Star Physical Therapy

Marty Blair

“As part of STAR Physical Therapy, I have the opportunity to serve others with the limited talents I have been blessed with. Being part of a team that can have such positive impact in the quality of people’s lives is incredibly rewarding.”

Marty was born in Hamilton, Ohio, and grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Nashville, Tenn.  After earning a BS in Mechanical Engineering at Tennessee Tech, Marty continued his education by completing his MBA at Jacksonville State University.

Marty is STAR’s only Partner without a clinical background.  Before joining STAR, Marty spent 10 years as an aerospace engineer designing and manufacturing motion control systems for aircraft, missiles, satellites, the space shuttle and the space station.  He also spent 10 years as a Plant Manager and Vice President of Operations with American Greetings.  Today, Marty is focused on STAR’s overall business operations.

Away from work, Marty currently serves as a member of the St. Henry Catholic Church Finance Board, Athletic Director and coach at the St. Henry School, as well as rugby coach at Father Ryan High School.  In his free time, Marty enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, golfing, and exercising.
