Leslie Burton was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. She graduated from The Harpeth Hall School, where she participated in basketball, track, and cross country. Leslie graduated with honors from David Lipscomb University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Chemistry. She further pursued her education at the University of Central Arkansas, earning her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy.
For the past 23 years, Leslie has dedicated her career to outpatient physical therapy, specializing in the treatment of sports and orthopedic injuries. Since its inception in 1997, Leslie has been a Partner at STAR Physical Therapy. In addition to being a Partner, Leslie initially spent many years serving as Clinic Director at our South Nashville clinic. Today, Leslie oversees STAR’s corporate compliance program.
Leslie enjoys spending her spare time participating in bicycling fundraising events, boating, and snow skiing. She has a younger sister in Breckenridge, Colorado, who practices medicine, and an identical twin sister who lives in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with her husband and identical twin sons who attend LSU.
