Kent is a founding Partner of STAR Physical Therapy. He was born in St. Paul, Minn., and worked on his grandfather’s farm as he grew up in Wisconsin. A product of the University of Wisconsin – LaCrosse, Kent graduated with a Bachelor of Science double major in Athletic Training and Sports Management with minors in Business and Coaching.
Kent has more than 20 years of Certified Athletic Training and outpatient physical therapy experience. He started with STAR as a Certified Athletic Trainer working in our Franklin clinic. He also helped to develop the STAR’s high school sports medicine outreach program.
Kent quickly earned the title of Clinic Director and, in 1999, opened our first clinic in Murfreesboro, Tenn. Today, Kent manages the operations of our clinics in Kentucky and Indiana and still enjoys covering sporting events and rehabilitating sports injuries.
Away from work, Kent enjoys spending time with his wife, Tamara, and two young children in their hometown of Louisville. Kent and his family currently attend St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Anchorage, Kentucky.

“On an average day, STAR clinicians treat more than 1,300 patients. Our employees serve that many patients and make a difference in their lives on a daily basis – and that is truly amazing to me.”
